Dear All,
       From June 2016 onwards our honorable Commercial tax department has announced a new provision the payment of tax due before filing or completing the monthly returns. as per announcement as under.

Payment of tax can be made even before filing the returns From June 2016 returns onwards, dealers are provided with the facility (in the new portal https://ctd.tn.gov.in) to make the tax payment even before filing the returns. If the dealers are facing any issues in filing of returns, the tax payment can be made before the due date and after making the payment the return filing can be completed.

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) issued a Notification No. GSR 158(E) on 10th February, 2016 for amendment in paragraphs 26A, 68-NN, 68-O, 69 and insertion of a new Para 68-NNNN in the Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme, 1952. Further, on detailed deliberations and on receiving various representations from trade unions, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Labour & Employment has decided to pay the full accumulations standing to the credit of a member, including interest thereon upto the date of payment to a member fulfilling any of the following conditions:- a) Housing purpose of a member. b) Self or family suffering from T.B., Leprosy, Paralysis, Cancer or Heart Operation. c) Marriage of children. d) Professional education (Medical, Engineering, Dental) of children. e) Member who has joined an establishment belonging to or under the control of the Central or a State Government and became a member of Contributory Provident Fund or Old Age Pension i...
